Originally developed for lake fly-fishing competitions, PEARLY BLOB CHENILLE has also proved very effective in stream fly-fishing. It is a chenille made up of a large number of synthetic microfilaments about 15mm long with very unique properties.
This fly tying material is characterised by very interesting pearly reflections and reacts to the UV rays of the sun, making its colours very fluorescent and bright. There are also a number of transparent strips of synthetic material which, in contact with light, produce a silvery glow and reflection that attracts fish from afar.
Tying PEARLY BLOB CHENILLE on a hook is quick and easy, and its uses are varied. You can use it to make:
- Bloob
- Boobie
- F.A.B.
- Eggs
- Streamers
- Nymphs
