The CCS MOP CHENILLE by Hotfly is primarily intended for tying the mop fly. For this very much discussed fly pattern, criticised by many purists, the appendages of cleaning rags were used in the beginning. However, these consist only of a twisted basic loop to which the fibres are attached. If this loop breaks, the body of the mop fly dissolves. This cannot happen with the CCS MOP CHENILLE, because the core of this chenille is welded to the fibres, so that on the one hand nothing comes apart and on the other hand you can cut mop pieces of any length from this chenille strand. Of course, this CHENILLE is mainly suitable for the mop fly mentioned at the beginning. But you can also use it for imitating quivers of nymphs, or in a slightly longer version as worms. But you can also tie extended bodies and similar applications very well with this chenille.
